I visited this well-stocked antique shop to sell an Antique Davenport desk and a Victorian Director Desk Chair. I was astonished at the quality and range of antiques on display. The gentleman that served me gave me a good price for my desk and chair and gave me some advice on keeping my other bits of furniture polished and clean without damaging them with cheap silicone based products. I would recommend this store in the future for anyone looking to buy or sell antiques and if they just want some helpful advice. Thank you for dealing with me so quickly.

I have been seeing Sara at Perfect Elegance for a while now. It is an excellent place to go. Warm friendly and welcoming. The treatments are really good value and nothing is too much trouble. It is like going to see old friends. I would recommend it without hesitation.

I have been coming to Clare at Perfect Elegance for the last 13 years. I look at other peoples nails and they look so false but Clare is able to make them look so natural. Nothing is too much trouble for her, I would use no one else. Lovely calming and friendly atmosphere within the salon, From Carol Starr as I haven't got a Google Account.

An amazing bookshop! If mountains of books are what you are after then that is what you will find at Camilla’s. There are more unsorted books in the entrance to the shop than are in my entire library and each time I visit there is less and less space to move between the stacks. An Aladdin's cave for treasure seekers, there are gems on every floor, piles and piles of them. All that is required is the time and patients to search. Friendly and knowledgeable staff who are always willing and able to help.

Stupid amounts of books. Floor to ceiling bookshelves on three floors with waist hight steaks of books three deep piled in front of them. If you can't find the book you want here you will certainly have spent a long time looking. POTENTIAL WARNING FOR CLAUSTROPHOBIC PEOPLE OR DUST ALLERGIES, THIS PLACE IS MENTAL

Bought a bulb for my car staff showed fair knowledge and offered advice on which bulb to buy. They pushed the fitting service which I agreed to amazed when they charged £8.00 to fit a bulb. Would not use this service again as it was an easy fit.

My Ford Ecosport ( 3 yrs old ) is currently in their garage with airbag light on. It came on for no reason and has intermittently continued to do so. Last Wed I took the car in for a 'quick' code read whilst the light was on. It showed a fault so was booked in today for further investigation. In the last 4 hours I have been called by the mechanic twice, sorry cant remember his name ! First call was to ask me details of the fault , conditions when the light came on etc... second call was to be told they know which circuit the fault is on and its either a sensor or wiring fault. The sensor will be replaced tomorrow and we then see what happens. It may or may not fix fault. This is exactly what should be happening and i'm very happy with the service so far. Fault finding can be a nightmare , I know, i'm a mechanic too. My husband is also Ford trained. The reason we haven't fixed the fault is because I bought an extended warranty . From the young lady on the service counter, to the mechanic......even Dom who sold us the car , they have all been polite and professional . The only drawback was my lift home....... I experienced the Ecosport ST !!! Wow.....that's my next one !

Probably the cheapest fuel in the area, and Nectar points too! Friendly staff, nice clean shop, and you can pay at the pump or inside. It can get very busy here, especially at weekends, and be aware that the entrance is on a bend and you have to turn in against oncoming traffic. It's a superstore car park, so many people are not really paying much attention to the 'rules of the road'- be careful when turning in! There are not any public toilets actually in the service station itself, but there are some in the adjacent Sainsbury's supermarket.

Fuel, plus a very limited assortment of candies, drinks, and impulse purchase enticements, all safely wrapped with the lure of fidelity points through Sainsbury's partner Nectar. This forecourt offers an air & water dispenser as well as vacuums. Prices at Sainsbury's in Eastbourne typically match competing petrol prices at the area Morrison's, Tesco. ASDA consistently attempt to be lower by discounting one or two tenths of a penny. If the public bite at such a marketing ploy remains to be seen.

They have great products but my only issue is that I have to do my own research before a visit to ensure I get the product I need as the ladies have often not informed me of new products in the passed but I've had to find out later through their website. Otherwise I'm very pleased with their make-up line as I'm allergic to fragrance and they can match my skin tone perfectly. Always friendly.

Helen the chef makes gorgeous food! Vegan and Veggie options abound and the staff are lovely. Stuff to do for kids as well as arts and crafts events (pottery painting especially!!) Friday and Saturday Eve they serve great gin cocktails and excellent tapas. 4 stars only because it's a little pricey but, where isn't these days?!

Great bike shop the best in Eastbourne.

Just popped in to evolution cycles after some help!! My daughter and I had been for a bike ride along seafront and her handle bars had just come off!! The guy working there happily fixed it for us, even thought thr bike wasnt brought from them. He saved the day as we could carry on on our ride! Very happy mum here!

A marvellous shops that stocks a wide variety of hardware goods. With wide aisles this is an easy access store. With helpful staff who are happy to check stock on anything that might appear out of stock on the shop floor. Found tucked away behind shades a handy little town centre shop.

Sunny foods has a great selection of products, so the owners clearly know their stuff. However it is really let down by the customer service. I always like to support small local businesses but I often feel like I've troubled them by even going in. I'd like to shop here regularly, but have been put off a few times, a hello and a smile at the till would go a long way

I chose to exchange a putter bought in another American Golf store. Eastbourne staff made this easy - going so far as to source the precise Evnroll Putter I wanted from Essex. At all times I was kept informed until it arrived. Excellent service and attitude.

A well laid out store with good offers. The staff were knowledgeable and helpful. I was struggling to remember my printer model for replacement ink cartridges and the staff member was able to help me identify my printer and even went and brought my ink for me.

Fantastic service. Able to come out with only a day's notice to hang a 55" TV on our kitchen wall and we were really happy with the end result. All cables plus Sky box hidden away so very neat finish. Even took the time to wire up the Sky box and programme the Sky remote to the TV. Got other quotes and was a very competitive price too. Would definitely recommend.

Well I needed a TV mounting on a wall and searched for a company near home. I found Smart Aerials and arranged a date/time. They arrived on time and did a superb job and cleaned up at the end. They checked if I was happy, which I most certainly was!!!!! An excellent company for anything "acoustic" and very personable is the way they operate. Good value shop worth a visit, especially for clothing. Nice clean cafe with a good variety of snacks and hot meals. Only let down is the toilet facilities - definitely need updating.

As a departmental shop it is showing signs of the times, and I don't mean that in a disparaging way. It does its best in what must be the worst of times for High Street retailing, but I wonder why they ever consider wholesale buying of some of their products which, I feel, might struggle to sell at a fraction of the price across the road in a charity shop. Conversely, they do have some familiar brand-name products that are frequently offered at prices lower than other outlets in the vicinity. Now, let's look at the "Cafe at TJs" and this is the real 5* bit.... This place is light, airy, and offers reasonable food at reasonable prices. I have not had lunch their recently, but it always gathers a crowd, so that says something, I think. HOWEVER, what we did have recently was a "CREAM TEA" FOR £2.50. That comprised Scone (best I've had for a long time), Strawberry Jam, a good-size pot of Roddas Cornish Clotted Cream, and a decent pot of tea. All of that would have not been bettered in Devon or Cornwall, never mind the price there which would probably not give much change from a £5 note! A great bargain - no mistake. I visited Champagne and Confetti a few weeks ago and had an appointment with Liz. She was exceptional from start to finish. It was my first time dress shopping and really had no idea what I was looking for and therefore was a bit nervous about making sure I made the right decision.
