The best Italian food I’ve eaten in Eastbourne. The staff where very polite and attentive. Great pizza and a truly Italian, family run feel to the restaurant. Very surprised by this place and will definitely be returning!
Truly Italian restaurant, very good tomato sauce from south Italy. The authentic flavors from the "Good country": Italy. Very nice place, and staff. Loved it, we will be back!

I attended for Saturday lunch. Beautiful dining room, great service and really good food. It was the first time I'd been, I had chicken breast which I find is a good test for restaurants. It was succulent, juicy and tasty. I had an amazing roasted beetroot starter and a caramelised banana dessert. It's expensive for the area, but for a top quality restaurant I'd say it's completely reasonably compared to similar quality restaurants. Will definitely be going again.
We had a lovely relaxing evening at the Mirabelle. The food was okay /good but not amazing. A little way to go before it gets a Michelin star. On that note I will say that the pricing is a tad pretentious and expensive for what it was. The wine list was good and extensive with some great wines but again mark up on lower priced wines was excessive. The service was amazing, as was the relaxed and exclusive atmosphere in the place, however it was not busy when we were there. We thoroughly enjoyed our meal and the service we had, it was wonderful but to be honest, the food could have been better, given the price. The wine we had was good but £53 a bottle was about £15 overpriced. I think that this is a marvelous and quite classy restaurant, perhaps given more to the taste of an older clientele but lovely nevertheless. However it does price itself a little too high for the quality of the food. You can have a wonderful set 3 course meal at Le Gavroche in London - 3 Michelin Stars and London prices for about the same price as we paid for the same at the Mirabelle. Set 3 course dinner for 2 with wine, coffee and petit four cost us about £186. Nice, but not nice enough for the money. Mirabelle, don't pretend to be what you are not. Bring your prices down, and the quality of your food up and you will be absolutely fabulous. As my school report card always said, "could do better..."

A very nice compact family restaurant, good food. Authentic Turkish meals served with lots of love . Very good helpings , you would need to be very hungry to do justice to their meals as an.individual. Best way to enjoy this place is to go.as a group or a family for a full dinner. The various selection of bites and.flavours are quite enticing. Very much.worth a try. Highly recommended.
One of the best Turkish food in town. Quality Is very good. The owner, his son and nephew are the very reason of this amazing friendly atmosphere. Grilled stuff cooked infront of your eyes and fresh bread from oven... Definitely a lot of honest effort to please guests. Will recommend there special as we tried that.

I visited the Ashoka initially after a friend recommended how good it was. Now I don't go anywhere else. The staff are always welcoming and friendly, the food is consistently good and portion sizes sensible. Lots of good menu options with a wide variety to cater for all tastes. Would highly recommend.
Ok this is a tough one. The food was excellent, however the only thing that let them down was the service. The waiter did not know what some of the drinks were to the point where my husband had his drink and had drunk most of it before I got mine. Then a waiter came to take our order and we'd not been given any menus despite being sat for 20 minutes. Again let me say the food was excellent. So I give 5 stars for the food and 3 for the service.

Not sure how others have given 5 stars. Mediocre food. Onion bhajis were very small and and not very nice. There must be better Indian restaurants in Eastbourne
Very nice place to have a meal food was delicious and service was good

Excellent South Indian Street food. Very good quality food, well presented and with great service. Highly recommended. Easy to try things you may not have tried before.
Great food very simple no heavy sauce very light and filling. Good service quantities are just right. Decor good. Food is keeping with the streets of India.

Lunch for two. Generally good but service slow for dessert. The pizza was good the pasta my wife ordered less so. Alcohol free cocktail very good but beer expensive. Overall good but a little pricey. Waiting staff friendly and polite.
The pizza is incredible! Slow service because i went on a busy Friday evening but the food arrived really quickly. Such amazing pizza I ate the entire thing. I recommend zizzis to anyone.

Nice casual intimate little Italian restaurant... A Saturday night never booked walked in around 9 p.m. Tables spare....Something on the menu for mostly everyone. £8- £15 main course.. staff tried hard. Quite enjoyable.
This is a lovely Italian restaurant. The food was excellent and all of the staff were very nice and friendly, I loved the pizza at this place

Had a great meal here and intend going back before we leave for home this week. I had the liver. It was superb. The best ever. It’s a small and well run restaurant with very friendly staff.
We had some lovely food here. Unfortunately the staff (who apparently were all new ) weren't totally on the ball! They were friendly and when we questioned something they were polite and dealt with our query. The food was lovely.

11:45 We had coffee & Danish/Tea Cake, asked if the Tea Cake could be toasted, the happy helpful waitress said no problem and also asked if butter & jam would be required. What brilliant service, the coffees had those lovely almond flavoured small crunchy biscuits. The outside area, where we were seated had a lot of people in, the buzz, atmosphere, service and location was first class. This place needs to keep open so go and visit and make it a meeting place with your friends. You won’t be disappointed.
First of all I can only speak for this venue in the evening as I’ve never visited during the day. Broadway is done up very nicely, looking extremely professional and exclusive without being tacky or as if it’s trying too hard. The outside area is honestly pretty amazing, and is great when quiet or busy. Unfortunately these looks hit you where it hurts, at the price tag. The drinks are expensive, even with the offers/promotions put on. The space is also very tight, as I’ve often bumped in to/been bumped when moving through the venue. Overall though, it’s a very good pace to unwind and chill as it’s never chaotic or loud.

Love the food. Staff are friendly. Decent prices. My favourite is the Sweet and Sour chicken 👌. Hot plates to keep the food warmer for longer would be great 👍
What a little gem in Eastbourne. Always nice to see a business doing it right. Took my Mum and 8 others including my grandma. As soon as the door opened and we were greeted by Alex you could sense the quality. Staff very attentive. Food excellent none of type found in the town centre. My grandma doesn't eat alot and asked for some bread which they didn't have. But a wonderful lady took customer service to another level and purchased a loaf so it would compliment grandma's soup starter. Thanks nice touch. Also it was my mum's birthday and after her birthday song and cake, she became a bit emotional which was lovely. My entire family enjoyed the atmosphere and the lovely surroundings. But most of all to Alex and his team a wonderful job.....well done. See you again soon. If you appreciate good food and excellent customer service then don't go to any other Chinese restaurant in Eastbourne .

Bill is such an amazing restaurant starting from the interior through the delicious food to the great and friendly service. They have very good menu options and even though the price is a bit higher than your average restaurant, it is totally worth those extra pennies. We’ve had fish and steak and both tasted very yummy with a good amount of herbs and drinks were also good. My husband found a tiny piece of metal in his drink, which was not even a big thing , but they were insisting on getting him another drink for free of charge. Serving staff was very relaxed, yet professional. I would highly recommend this place!
The service was fantastic as it usually is at Bills. The outside seating area was great on a warm day. The baby changing facilities were a good bonus too. With a newborn we were limited on time so opted for the 'Sharing Plate'. We were a little disappointed to be fair. It wasn't a great portion and the toasted Focaccia seemed out of place. A flat bread would have worked better. Everything was tasty but just a little underwhelming and a little 'minimal'. The interior was cool and spacious if you wanted to escape the heat.

So tasty! Visiting from the US, I was missing mexican food badly. We came across this place and decided to give it a try. So glad we did! All of us were so impressed with our meals and it had the kick I was craving. So many menu options including many vegetarian options which is a plus for me. The man who served us, who I believe is also the owner was amazing. Such good service and he was so fun in his interactions with my 2 year old niece! Definitely made us feel very welcome! Loved this place.
Never had better food. From now this is my top one restaurant! THANK YOU FOR GREAT FOOD AND FRIENDLY SERVICE , GUYS !

Good quality food for a low price! Me and my family eat here almost everyweek and have never been disappointed. All the staff are very friendly and nice, and are keen on customer service. Would 100% recommend as a quick service, cheap but tasty meal out. For four of us to all have main meals and two drinks each it works out to be about £30. Not bad at all.
Went upstairs.no seats down.No one behind the bar. Then saw girl blonde with ponytail. Asked if she was serving she didn't seem to like it.She wasn't friendly.Got the impression she wasn't bothered.Another girl come up to help.It all must been to much for her. Then she come to a table in front of us.And she stood talking.Didnt use this pub again.Went to cornfield garage much better pub and staff are very friendly.

Nice bar and great food, but the acoustics! So echoey. Sounds like everyone is shouting.
Lots to like here and Long Man ales are great but they're always warm. It's costing at least one review star

Nice pub, doesn't seem to have fallen into being part of a franchise yet. Friendly staff, great atmosphere. Feels like a proper pub. Recommended.
Good pub, little bit expensive but is in a good location and has friendly clientele. Nice interior and comfy seats. Can be a bit difficult to get a drink when it's busy but that's not the pubs fault, always have plenty of staff which makes a nice change.
